Due to Damage caused by Hurricane Harvey we have had to modify our adoption process. We have some adoptable shelter cats and we’re housing some cats for animal control which are available for adoption. Our dogs have been relocated out of the area; most have been adopted, all are safe. Until we can get our yards and facilities back in order we are not intaking any dogs or cats.
Please check our home page for status updates or get on our email list to be notified of our activities, services and status. If you reload this page a signup form will pop up.

What to do if you would like to adopt a dog or a cat
We have a current Dog-A-Log & Cat-A-Log of all our pets that are eligible to be adopted online. You can see them via the links above. These are pets that have had their shots, been checked and/or treated for heart-worms, and have been spayed or neutered.
If you are interested in a pet you may call the Humane Society during our office hours or stop by during our published office hours. You’ll find our office hours and phone number at the upper left of this page and a map to our facility at the bottom of this page.
In the reception area there’s also a photo album with information about all of the pets available for adoption. Once you select a pet of interest online or from the album, an adoption counselor or qualified volunteer will bring your pet out to get acquainted.
We have a nice grassy area outside and an enclosed off leash area to help you find the perfect pup.
We have enclosed indoor catteries where an adoption counselor will assist you in finding your new kitty.
